Sensitivity to hot and cold as well as mild to severe tooth pain can often be an indicator of nerve damage in a tooth. When this happens it is often recommended to provide root canal treatment to prolong the life of your injured tooth.

What is endodontics?

When you experience tooth ache, a filling is not always possible. At this time the only option is to either extract tooth or do a root canal also known as endodontic therapy to keep the tooth.

How is the treatment done?

Your tooth is "frozen" the infected tissue that is causing pain within the canal of the tooth is removed, cleaned, shaped, and finally sealed.

How is it diagnosed?

The most common symptoms of an infected tooth is pain, swelling, and sensitivity. With the use of radiographs, we will be able to assess the tooth and determine if root canal therapy is an appropriate treatment option for you.
